Meet Map: Ethan, Student

Here is a transcript of our conversation with Ethan, a Map student.

Ethan: At Map, I can really work on what I want to work on. The teachers here really want to make sure that you’re in the right space. Sometimes if you’re not feeling it, then they’ll just leave you be and let you come to them for work. It’s really open and they really focus on your well-being before anything else, before any schoolwork or anything. Three weeks ago, it was a seminar class called Netflix and Classics. You would sit down, turn on a movie and you would write a page about it every time. You wrote 10 pages. They were all different genres. A lot of different topics were covered and stuff like that. My name is Ethan, I’m 14, and I go to Map Academy. I rock the merch too.
