Meet Map: Amanda, Student

Here is a transcript of our conversation with Amanda, a Map student.

Amanda: At Map I have the freedom to work on certain things when I want to, or just to chill when I’m not feeling good, or to hustle out some work. The teachers will keep on coming around, asking you if you need help or checking on you to see if you’re okay. If you want to talk to them, you can. If they see that you’re having a bad day and you tell them that, they’ll lay off of you, if you want them to. The next credits I’m going to be earning are history and math. [laughs] I’m like 90% done. We’re going to be getting them this week [00:00:30]or next week. I’m Amanda, I’m 18. I go to Map Academy.
